The Reba Russell Band is a modern 5 piece electric blues band featuring original songs. They have traveled the world for 20 years playing festivals in North America and Europe.
This band combines experience, superlative instrumental virtuosity and the most moving female voice in the modern blues pantheon to create one of the most exciting entertainment packages to have ever come from Memphis, Tennessee.
Reba Russell An internationally known blues diva, Reba Russell is a Memphis treasure. Reba’s rockin’ band, has developed a large, loyal fan base in Memphis due to her showstopping nightclub gigs on Beale Street in addition she has fans around the world as a result of her frequent appearances at blues festivals and European Tours.
Artist, Musician Wayne Russell was born in Pontotoc, Mississippi to parents who picked cotton on family land. Both his mother and father came from homes where music was a part of daily life. Most of his family members
played and sang in church as well as community gatherings.
Doug McMinn has been a professional musician for over twenty-six years. He started his career at the age of 15, growing up with both parents performing the blues. He worked with his father, Papa Don McMinn, opening and playing for over 9 years at The Rum Boogie Café on the legendary
Beale Street. He has also toured Europe and the UK extensively over the past 10 years.
Robert Nighthawk Tooms is a 30 year veteran of Beale Street and the Blues. Robert is known for his “stylin threads” as well his authentic Blues harp.
Josh Robert’s guitar appears on many of Brad Webb’s Boogie Barbeque recordings, including his own release on this long established Memphis label.
