Ellie Lee grew up playing in rock, blues, funk and show bands. She traveled extensively in the southern states honing her skills as a blues musician.
After a 25 year hiatus to raise a family, Ellie is now back with a deep and earnest desire to play the music she loves... the blues... the musical soul of our nation.
Ellie "I want to present an eclectic collection of old, new, and original tunes with a focus on variety, energy and dynamics".
Winner of numerous awards, Ellie Lee and Blues Fury are an exciting rockin’ blues group with a dynamic on stage performance. Ellie is a blues guitarist/singer/songwriter that fronts the band with her soulful voice, ripping guitar solos and her obvious joy in performing. Ellie's guitar virtuosity has been compared to Carlos Santana, Albert King and Jimi Hendrix just to name a few. People enjoy the fact that Ellie plays and sings like there's no tomorrow. She gives it her all every time.
When Jerry Hale came to Columbus in the Early 70’s, he played with local favorite Hard Sauce featuring Jamie Lyons. Hard Sauce then evolved into the Capital City Rockets & in less than one year were signed to Electra Records.
In Recent years, Jerry made the Tampa Bay area scene performing with Teena and the White Boys, House of Trouble, Tommy McCoy and Sarasota Slim. Jerry has performed in great blues clubs such as Ringside Cafe, Green Iguana, Dave’s Aqua Lounge and many other Clubs in the Tampa Bay area.
