The Certified Band
CANDACE TONEY on lead vocals covers a range from smooth and sultry to highenergy dance tunes. One of CANDACE'S greatest talents is her ability to emulate the artist of each song she sings. Her look and stage presence, combined with ten years of experience, makes her an outstanding focal point of the band.
On guitar, JUSTIN RICHEY'S red-hot slide style and attention to detail ensures every signature lick is right where it should be. A studio musician with fifteen years experience, JUSTIN has performed on many recording sessions and played live with many top musicians in the area. JUSTIN'S laid-back and friendly personality combined with his scorching guitar licks makes him a pleasure to watch on stage.
Band leader AUGUST ZONA plays bass guitar, guitar, percussion, and covers vocals with expertise. With twenty-five years of professional experience, AUGUST has traveled worldwide, and for the last eight years has played countless venues in the Southwest Florida area. AUGUST covers all styles for all types of audiences.
New Drummer, Steve Camilleri, was the 1994 Blues Drummer of the year in Western NY, he has done tours with the Department of Defense and the USO, he has his own studio in the Sarasota, FL area and he also plays base and six string guitar.
